Why a good looking website isn't enough

A lot of websites are made to impress the owner, not the customer.

Big sliders, heavy videos, fancy animations. It all looks lovely on a laptop in the designer's office. Then a customer opens it on their phone in a moving cab, waits a few seconds, gets bored and goes back to Google. They click the next result. That's a lost call, and you never even knew about it.

When we build a site, we keep asking one simple question: will this help someone find you and contact you? If the answer is no, it probably doesn't need to be there.

What kind of websites do we build?

Most of our work is business websites for people who sell a service. Doctors, dentists, coaching centres, CA firms, interior designers, property dealers. For these, we give every service its own page, because someone searching "root canal treatment in Gurgaon" should land on a page about root canals, not a homepage that lists twenty things.

We also build online stores on Shopify and WooCommerce, with Razorpay, UPI and cash on delivery set up properly. If you're a D2C brand, the product pages and checkout matter more than anything else, so that's where we spend our time.

For most clients we use WordPress, simply because your own team can update it later without depending on us. When a project needs something WordPress can't handle well, like a booking system or a customer portal, we build it custom in PHP or Laravel.

And if you already have a site that ranks a little but looks old, we can redesign it without throwing away what's working. We keep track of every old link and redirect it properly. Skip this step and rankings can drop overnight. We've cleaned up after that mistake more times than we'd like.

How does the work actually happen?

Nothing complicated. It's four stages.

First we audit. We look at your current website if you have one, check who's ranking in your area, and find out what your customers really search for. Sometimes it's not what you'd expect.

Then we plan. You get a simple written document with every page, every feature and a launch date. If something isn't in there, you're not paying for it.

Then we build. Everything goes up on a test link first. Open it on your own phone, share it with your partner or your staff, tell us what feels off. We fix it before anyone else sees it.

After launch, we report. Once a month you get a short update: how many people visited, where you're ranking, how many enquiries came in. Written the way we'd explain it to you over chai, not in technical language.

Why do people pick us?

Partly because we understand SEO, which most web design shops don't. Partly because we don't tie anyone into long contracts. If you want to leave, you leave, and you take everything with you. Your domain, your hosting, your files. It's your website, after all.

And partly, honestly, because we're local. You can come to our office, sit with us and see the work. That still matters to a lot of people.

How long will it take?

A normal business website usually takes us three to six weeks. An online store takes a bit longer, around six to ten weeks. Custom projects depend on what you need.

One small tip from experience: the thing that slows projects down most is waiting for content. Photos, service details, logins. If you have those ready early, we can move a lot faster.
